Desensitizing A 4 and a half year old Tennessee Walker using All Natural Horsmanship Techniques.
Desensitizing Austin! And gun shots too!
This video will show you the results of desensitizing horses and why it is so valuable and necessary for your safety as a rider. This was Austin's first official trail ride. Austin had gone through the a thourough desensitizing routine, some At Liberty training, natural horsemanship ground work and one 3 day Natural Horsemanship clinic and lots of ponying on trails with saddle. This is the results of laying a solid foundation for this horse. He was calm, brave, not spooky and willing to go forward calmy, rationally and fearlessly.
