This is Sammy. He will navigate anything you ask of him. If he does spook, he'll snort and spook in place. He'll swim and or cross any kind of water from a river, to a pond to small streams. Will climb nearly vertical hills. Will jump large, very large downed trees if asked or will step over them. Will cross bridges, will walk down into ravines, gullies, traverse down into vertical ditches-trenches-ravines. Would or will make an EXCELLENT EXTREME COWBOY OR FIELD TRIAL HORSE AS NOTHING SCARES HIM. Very confident and incredibly brave. This is a horse that has absolutely NO VICES. NONE!!!! Updated videos will blow you away!!!! Here is a horse who has got the right start in life out the gate with the right kind of training that will keep you safe in the real world of trail riding. Because he was started right, he has a clean slate and has no vices. Every horse that leaves Eastwind Walkers does not leave until they are ready to leave. We use all natural training techniques to achieve the proper gait and collection. We don't use any training gimmicks, no tie downs, no tying the tongue down, no funky shoeing, no soring, no draw reins, no martingales, nothing....Just pure clean All Natural Horsemanship, time and patience.
If you are looking for that stunning gelding with a mane to die for, this is the guy. A 3 year old. Stunning long wavy mane and tail. Looks like a Friesian. Will be a very stocky, well built small horse, should be around 14.3 hands full grown. A Quarter horse look to the body. Very pretty head and ears. 4 white socks. Very small white star. Very athletic horse. Very calm and sweet. Extremely hard to find Walkers this size, hard to come by. Excellent Ground manners. Trailers, stands for ferrier. Very laid back personality. Will finish 90 days of extreme trail training on April 8th. This is an incredible one of a kind, drop dead gorgeous Tennessee Walker. They just don't happen like him very often. He'll make someone and incredible ride and friend. Because of his size and personality, he'll make an excellent child's horse or a small framed man or woman a great smooth ride. He is naturally gaited. A puppy dog yet extremely respectful personality on the ground. Not pushy in any way. VERY RESPECTFUL. Extremely brave and willing under saddle. Will do any obstacle you ask him to do. Will be posting updated videos throughout his trail rides. You won't believe some of the obstacles you'll see him navigating. He is ridden in either a bitless bridle or a d ring snaffle. Sammy will go only to an approved him, he was just brought current on 03/05/2008 on all shots, shoeing, and dental work. On April 8th, Sammy will graduate with Top Honors from Extreme Trail Ride training. He'll have a side pass, forhand turns, haunch turns and some pretty nice collection on him before he goes.
